I THINK RED VELVET'S SONG ENTITLED PSYCHO SUITS FOR THIS MOVIE. We needed a reminder of DCEU after the Joker.
I need to watch this. X-men meets Silent Hill crossover. I like it. Man, the only real expectation I had was for this movie to be better than Suicide Squad. And I didn't even HATE Suicide Squad, I just know DC can do better. This movie was super-Meh and worse than Suicide Squad. Black Mask, in earlier scenes in his club, looked like Ewan McGregor doing an imitation of 2000s-era Bono with the color-tint glasses and rock-star swagger. His bad-guy underground bar was just a sound stage, like just a shitty room. The sets in general were awful. The movie's tone was uninspired. There was no Gotham atmosphere, except referenced only in name. I kept thinking, where in the hell are they? I like all the cast, and I even like all the lady-focused movies of late (comic based and otherwise) but this movie only appears to be getting good reviews because it's female-directed, female-written, and has an multi-ethic, female cast. There are no well-executed character introductions or any real character development (their backstories come off as afterthought) and they don't even sync up together until the last half hour of the movie. The talent they had available for this movie was wasted. The action was tepid. I am so tired of the Black Widow-throw with the leg. Robbie on roller skates pulled behind a car made me think of Michael J. Fox in Back to the Future. And the hyena was a missed opportunity, being in the movie only like twice. It could have been a sidekick, or like some R2d2-esque support bringing some chuckles, but no. If the ladies are going to be doing their own thing in the bulk of the movie until they group at the end, then the script should have been more L.A. Confidential with converging characters. Alot of missed opportunities in this movie.
I miss the old suicide squad Harley look thou, she looks like she just got off a drinking binge in this one. Ewan Mcgregor Is the only reason im buying a ticket. Margot is amazing the rest look should come back... DC should keep up with these solo movies, Aquaman and joker were hits and I feel like this will be a hit too. Did you also not like Mutant X. Id be super interested in hearing your thoughts on The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel in its own video. Or just more tv/streaming show reviews in general.

SCREWED BY THE LEFIST PC ACADEMY. Harley seems perfect. The film looks like a lot of fun. That said, this should have been a Gotham Sirens film because as adaptations, the actual Birds of Prey seem like utter failures. No idea who any of the characters are and I've been a fan of Black Canary and Huntress since the 70's. Sure the movie looks good but I dont think it's woke enough. Harley Quinn should be a real world 195lb, 55 trans woman. I'm boycotting DC movies until we get that superhero. Somebody help this boy! killed it for me 😂😂😂. 9:15 shortened down to 1 minute.
I think I'm in love with a movie xD. I cant wait. I love Harley Quinn. To be honest im sick of the same figure/character in every superheroe movies, I mean, A new super hero movie? Or just a man with a superheroe abillity.
